This course is an introduction to the structure and function of living organisms. Topics include the scientific method, cell structure and function, genetics, evolution, and ecology. The course emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and application of biological concepts to everyday life. It includes the lab requirements and is only for students who are enrolled in a lab-based program.
